As internet services have improved, it is now possible to meet online via Skype, Google Chat and other programs. I’ve used these facilities for several years now and they provide an acceptable medium for our work together.
In-person communication is certainly the best alternative and I may recommend to you that you would be best advised to consult a therapist in person. However, the advantages of online consultations in elimination of travelling time, access across distances and flexibility of consultation hours are very attractive, particularly for coaching and counselling.
